On July 4, Chaoyang District, as the largest and most complete ecological development cluster of the Meta Universe (Internet 3.0) in China, held the AIGC and Meta Universe Integrated Development Forum of 2025 Global Digital Economy Conference. A number of achievements in the field of AIGC and metaverse, including the AIGC (Artificial Intelligence Content Generation) tool platform, the 2025 Chaoyang District Metaverse benchmark demonstration application scenario, the Metaverse application scenario demonstration base, the Future Display Industry Park, the ULive hyper live broadcast control center, and the Chaoyang AIGC accelerator, were released at the forum.
The demand for scenario applications stimulates technological innovation and drives continuous technological upgrades to meet richer and more complex application scenarios; Technological innovation provides stronger technical support for scenario applications, making the application of the metaverse more diverse and efficient. The close integration of technology and scenarios is driving the rapid development of the metaverse industry and achieving maximum value.
At the meeting, the benchmark demonstration application scenarios for the 2025 Chaoyang District Metaverse were released, including the ULive Super Live Panjiayuan Community Experience, 798 Super Dimensional Vision · VR Cinema, Liangmahe Platinum Palace Lock Digital Night Tour, "Three Body · Four Dimensional Space" Science Fiction Experience Center, and ASTATION Mountain and Sea Space. They have been awarded the "Chaoyang District Benchmark Demonstration Application Scene" along with the Workers' Sports Metaverse, Blue Harbor Metaverse, Bubble Mart City Park, Tongying Center Commercial Metaverse, and People's Party Building Cloud Metaverse. Among them, 798 Art Park in Chaoyang District, where 798 Super Vision · VR Cinema and ASTATION Shanhai Space are located, has attracted a large number of meta universe projects to land, and has achieved coordinated development with Zhongguancun Internet 3.0 Industrial Park. It has become a veritable cluster of meta universe projects, and has been awarded the "Demonstration Base of Metauniverse Application Scenarios" by Chaoyang District. Since 2023, Chaoyang District has excavated 27 benchmark scenarios, driven 32 key core technology breakthroughs, and formed a solution resource pool of hundreds of companies, covering multiple future industries such as artificial intelligence and metaverse.
Professional parks are an important component of the metaverse industry ecosystem in Chaoyang District. At the meeting, the Beijing Oriental Future Display Industrial Park in Chaoyang District was officially unveiled. The park relies on the profound cultural and media resources advantages of Chaoyang District and BOE's leading position in the global display industry. It focuses on expanding application scenarios, integrating application experience, exhibition display, innovation incubation and other functions, laying out six professional platforms, and building a full cycle operation system of "service+fund+space+ecology", aiming to create a new display industry ecology with global influence.
After three years of construction, Chaoyang District has gathered more than 1400 metaverse industry chain enterprises and cultivated a number of leading enterprises such as Blue Focus, Weiling Times, and UINO Younuo Technology; Completed 32 industry-leading key core technology breakthroughs; Initiated the establishment of the Internet 3.0 Application Scenario Research Institute, and created more than 20 benchmark application scenarios, such as the Workbody Metauniverse, 798 Ultra dimensional Vision · VR Cinema.
At present, Chaoyang District is establishing a solid foundation for the metaverse industry ecology, with the integration of AIGC and metaverse industry as the core direction, promoting the iteration and innovation of cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and ultra high definition, deeply empowering cultural tourism, short drama film and television, animation, game competition, creative design and other fields, comprehensively innovating content production paradigms, promoting the explosive development of AIGC industry, and giving birth to new forms of digital economy.
